<p>PURPOSE:To reduce the unnecessary power consumption by monitoring the load states of all processors of a system to automatically turn on/off a power source. CONSTITUTION:A power supply controller 1 is connected to respective devices by all processors (including peripheral devices) of the system and busses 2 to 12 for control. When the system is automatically started by the power supply controller 1, the system configuration is minimum with busses 2 to 9; and when use declaration of a system user is recognized thereafter, power sources of required peripheral devices are turned on by the power supply controller 1 and required peripheral devices are assigned in the system by control busses 10 to 12. The load states of peripheral devices are monitored during system assignment of each peripheral device; and if there is a non-loaded peripheral device, it is released in the system by the pertinent control bus and its power source is turned off.</p> |
