PURPOSE:To obtain a printing paper registering device capable of automatically registering images on the top and rear surfaces of printing paper without a printing shift when printing is made on the both surfaces. CONSTITUTION:This device consists of a paper mount 11 for loading printing paper 13 having top-side and rear-side register marks 14, 15 printed on the both surfaces by a printing press and a handy camera 16 taking a photograph of the top-side and rear-side register marks 14, 15 of the printing paper 13 loaded on the paper mount 11 from the top side of the printing paper 13 for obtaining image information representing the top-side and rear-side register marks 14, 15. The device is provided with a top-surface lighting device 22 for lighting the top surface of the printing paper 13 loaded on the paper mount 11; a rear-surface lighting device 23 which is disposed under a table 12 for lighting the rear surface of the printing paper 13 loaded on the paper mount 11; and an image processing device 30 for processing the image information to control information for controlling the printing press. |
