PURPOSE:To provide a hardening hard tissue restoration material quickly curing, safe for a human body, high in compatibility with an organism and optimum as a restoration material for a deficiency such as a tooth by making the mate rial of alpha-calcium phosphate granule having the prescribed specific surface area and mean grain size and water, or a physiological salt solution. CONSTITUTION:alpha-calcium phosphate granule, or a mixture of this granule and porous hydroxylapatite granulated powder is used as the solid component of a sclerogenous hard tissue restoration material. The alpha-calcium phosphate granule is required to have a specific surface area of 10m<2>/g or above, and a mean grain size of 10mum or less. Also, the porous hydroxylapatite granulated powder used together with the granule is required to have a mean grain size between 0.05mum and 5mm, a pore size between 5mum and 2000mum, and porosity between 10% and 80%. In addition, a mixing ratio is that at least 3wt% of the alpha-calcium phosphate granule must be contained in the mixture. |
