METHOD AND DEVICE FOR CASTING MOLTEN METAL

PURPOSE:To surely pour molten metal when a casting product is manufactured by pouring the molten metal into a mold. CONSTITUTION:Exhausting a melting chamber 1 having a crucible 2 housing a metal to be melted 6 and a casting chamber 12 having a mold 14, both chambers are in an inert gas atmospheric state. After the metal 6 in the crucible 2 is melted, the crucible 2 is elevated by an elevating/lowering device 4 to insert a pouring opening 18 of a pouring path 17 in the molten metal 6a through which the molten metal 6a is poured into the mold 14 and, at the same time, the molten metal is poured into the mold 14 accompanied with the inert gas poured into the mold by pressure.
