PURPOSE:To provide a TOD(total oxygen demand) measuring device with compact dimension and high reliability. CONSTITUTION:A combustion tube 13b is made of a solid electrolyte, and two sets of separated platinum porous electrodes are arranged on the inner and outer surfaces, which are inserted into a heating furnace, of the combustion tube 13b. One set arranged upstream from carrier gas flow are used as oxygen pump electrodes 25, 26, and another set arranged downstream are used as oxygen concentration detecting electrodes 27, 28. A sample is heated and burned inside the combustion tube 13b. |
