PURPOSE:To provide a radio receiver coping with multiple frequencies usable in the reception frequency bands of any areas. CONSTITUTION:A CPU 23 informs that calling signals are received by controlling the flickering display of an LED 5, the ringing operation of a speaker 24 and the vibration operation of a vibrator 25 by the calling signals inputted from a radio circuit 22, displays a reception message received along with the calling signals on a display device 6, discriminates a channel frequency set in a connected local unit 3 and outputs control signals for controlling the capacitance of a variable capacitance diode D inside the radio circuit 22 and an antenna circuit 21 so as to receive the discriminated channel frequency to the antenna circuit 21 and the radio circuit 22. |
