PURPOSE: To provide a method for production of mixed oxides powders used in a catalyst for removal of nitrogen oxide. CONSTITUTION: A process for the production of powders contg. TiO2 in the form of anatase as a chief constituent and at least one of the catalytically active oxides MoO3 , WO3 and V2 O5 as minor constituents comprises (a) partially neutralizing a titanium dioxide hydrate suspension contg. sulfuric acid with an aq. alkaline soln. at a temp. of 20-100 deg.C to a pH value between 4.0 and 6.0, (b) filtering the suspension obtained in (a) to produce a filter cake and thereafter washing the filter cake intensively, (c) adding at least one water-soluble salt of at least one of the metals Mo, W and Vi in solid or dissolved form to the filter cake obtained in (b), and (d) drying the filter cake obtained in (c) and calcining it at a temp. of about 300-750 deg.C. |
