<p>Power actuator for vehicle door locking mechanism includes a power operable actuator lever (12) of the mechanism, a manual locking lever (14) operated by a sill button or the like, and a transmission connector (16) selectively coupling the levers (12,14) together so that it is reciprocated by drive from the manual lever (14) to move the actuating lever (12) between locked and unlocked conditions. In order to disable the manual lever (14) to effect superlocking for maximum security a superlocking motor 24 is operable to rotate the connector (16) angularly about a longitudinal axis and disengage drive formations of the connector (16) and of at least one of the levers (14). <IMAGE></p> |
