摘要 PURPOSE: To reduce the concentration of carbon monoxide in a hydrogen-rich fuel gas supplied to a fuel cell to 10ppm or less. CONSTITUTION: A reformed gas from a fuel reformer 14 is introduced into a carbon monoxide removing unit 34 through a water recovery unit 32, humidified with a humidifying unit 52, and supplied to a hydrogen electrode of a fuel cell 54 which outputs a driving power to a motor 58. A controller 66 controls output of the fuel cell based on a driving load instruction of the motor 58 corresponding to the actuating amount of a accel 60. Reaction parts of the unit 34 are divided into 38a-38c, switching valves 44a-44c are installed in the inlets of the reaction parts, and reformed gas flow rate introduced in the unit 34 is measured with a flow meter 36. A space velocity computing element 68 decides a reaction volume necessary for introducing the reformed gas in a flow rate of 1000-2000hr<-1> based on a fuel cell output value set by a controller 66 and the reformed gas flow rate measured with the flow meter 36, and controls so as to open only the switching valves 44a-44c.
