PURPOSE: To provide a component feeding method contrived into such a method that the directions of chip-shaped works are made uniform and the works can be reliably fed in a simple constitution and a component feeding device. CONSTITUTION: A component feeding device is provided with a first small chamber 54 having an opening for putting works therein and a second small chamber 55, which has a depth to correspond roughly to the thinnest thickness of the works and is provided in such a way as to connect with the lower part of the chamber 54 for accepting the works toward a set direction. Moreover, the device is provided with a plateshaped push-up piece 64, which passes through the interior of the chamber 55 from the lower side of the chamber 55 to thrust to the interior of the chamber 54 and is vertically moved, a component guide groove 57, which is provided with an opening adjacent to the side of the piece 64 on the side of one end and is provided with an opening positioned under the lower part of the piece 64 on the side of the other end, and a drive mechanism for vertically moving the piece 64. |
