FIELD: heavy-current semiconductor engineering; power supplies for high-power lasers and accelerators, and converters. SUBSTANCE: switching device has switching circuit set up of series- connected saturable reactor, diode and reverse-conducting dinistor, transformer, control circuit built up of series-connected thyristor, inductance coil and first capacitor connected in parallel to first transformer winding, demagnetizing circuit set up of series-connected current supply and demagnetizing windings of reactor and transformer, second capacitor one of whose leads is connected to anode of reverse- conducting dinistor, voltage supply connected in parallel with first capacitor, with its positive terminal connected to starting lead of first transformer winding whose starting lead of second winding is connected to cathode of reverse-conducting dinistor. In addition, device is provided with resistor and two diodes; resistor is inserted between transformer second winding and second lead of second capacitor; first additional diode is connected in parallel with first capacitor and its cathode is connected to positive pole of voltage supply; second additional diode is connected in parallel with transformer second winding and its cathode is connected to its starting lead; transformer is made as saturable transformer. EFFECT: reduced power requirement of control circuit, improved reliability of device due to better reliability of reverse-conducting dinistor. |
