The apparatus has a display for presenting information and contains a programme, in which the position (North latitude, East longitude) of a specific place in the town of Mecca is pre-programmed. The programme can show on the display the direction towards the place in the town of Mecca. The apparatus incorporates a clock, so that on the display, dependent upon the actual location of the last indicated place on the apparatus, the local time can be indicated. Also, under the same circumstances, the clock can indicate universal time. The apparatus is provided with a device for production of a signal at one or more predetermined, programmed time points.
