The component (10) makes a sealed joint (20) with the base (12) to which it is fixed to form a space (13). The heat sources are arranged to face the space so that jets of coolant play on the surface. The incoming liquid, driven by a pump, is conducted along channels and injected into the sealed space at high speed perpendicular to the component through circuit channels (18). The liquid leaves through a hole (19) in the central part of the sealed space. The base may be made in plastic and the circular channels are lined with a metal resistant to corrosion and erosion. An alternative produces laminar jets from elongated channels.
