摘要

FIELD: railway transport; brakes for rolling stock intended for operation in cold climates. SUBSTANCE: brake shoe has metal frame and polymer friction member. Polymer composite friction member consists of two layers differing in heat conductivity. Layer in contact with metal frame is made of polymer composite friction material whose heat conductivity is less than heat conductivity of polymer composite friction material of layer located at side of shoe working surface. Layer separation surface is made in form of interlayer whose heat conductivity is greater than heat conductivity of low-conductivity layer, but is less than heat conductivity of high-conductivity layer.
