PURPOSE:To simplify handling of a brushless motor employed in various electric appliances by unitizing the stator and to improve the accuracy of height or surface vibration of the stator by subjecting the bearing surface of terminal to combination machining. CONSTITUTION:A stator 80, a terminal 86, a retainer ring 92 and a shield ring 94 can be handled as a single component, i.e., a stator unit 82, when a positioning protrusion 96 is provided on the terminal 86 and passed through holes made through the stator 80, the retainer ring 92 and the shield ring 94 to be thermally fused. When the bearing surface 102 on the terminal 86 is subjected to combination machining with reference to the top surface 100 of the stator 80, surface vibration of the stator 80 is prevented, assembling error is eliminated, and the gap with respect to a magnet 66 is made constant. |
