Silo with open top and floating lid

The silo has a flat foundation plate (1) and has a thin wall extension (3), which may be circular in plan view. The floating lid (9) may be flat, with an upturned wall (8) around its edge. There is only a small clearance between the upturned wall and the wall of the silo, which may be filled with water. A frame at the edge of the flat plate holds a hose which acts as an O-ring seal. There is a thin wall extension (2) at the top edge (4) of the thick wall, whose inner diameter is the same as the outer diameter of the silo wall. There is a walkway on top.
