The fluid to be atomized flows through a distributor (7) which rotates in the outlet axis. The fluid is spun out in an expanding beaker (9) where it is atomized into small drops after passing along the beaker edge. The distributor is driven by the flow of fluid. The distributor is displaceable in the axial extension and its position can be set by adjusting the fluid volume flows over the header (3), return (4) and output (8) by means of the flow forces acting on the distributor.
