The method for increases the carrying capacity of a concrete floor by a factor of 2 or 3 without altering the structure of the concrete. It uses tensile elements (2) applied to the underside of the concrete by adhesive (3).- DETAILED DESCRIPTION - The fibrous elements, e.g. wood, have their maximum tensile strength along the longitudinal axis of the element.The floor can be fitted with spaced wood struts or by applying a fiber reinforced panel. The surface of the concrete is roughened prior to applying the adhesive to increase the adhesion strength of the bond between the wood and the concrete
