The container which serves to separate, in particular, hygiene articles from one another comprises a one-piece slider (1) which is provided for separating and withdrawing and which is provided with a front grip plate (2). The slider (1) can move perpendicularly in relation to the vertical axis of the container shaft (4). A supporting area (3) is adjacent to the grip plate (2). Said area covers the container shaft (4) in a downward manner when the slider (1) is pushed in. When the slider (1) is pulled out, the article to be separated from the others falls downward out of the container shaft (4) via the outlet area (5) and out of the container.
