The brushless DC motor has a rotor (1), with a rotor shaft (12) and a rotor magnet with a set of north and south poles and a stator (2) with a number of pole plates (21) and a stator coil (22), supplied with an operating current with a negative and a positive polarity in alternation via a driver circuit, in response to the poles of the rotor magnet detected via a sensor element (43), mounted on the driver circuit board (4). The operating voltage for the driver circuit is provided by a voltage converter, for rectification, filtering and smoothing of the AC voltage provided by a supply network. |
