<p>PURPOSE: To input simply, promptly, and accurately the printing start position of a printing item which is apt to be different by the kind of a check, in a check printer. CONSTITUTION: A transparent touch panel type keyboard 16 for inputting the printing start position of every desired term and and its item to be printed on a check sheet is positioned just over the check sheet CK placed in a tray 42. A user, while looking at the check sheet through the keyboard 16, touches a point on a touch panel 20 corresponding to the printing start position of every item of the sheet. The coordinate of the touched position is stored in a main memory as the printing start position of every item.</p> |
