PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a magnetic recording medium being punched upon transferring magnetic information to a substrate and having high transfer position accuracy of magnetic information, production method and system thereof, and a magnetic memory employing it. SOLUTION: A ferromagnetic CoCrTaPt film 7 and a protective film 8 are formed in the information recording part 2a of a die disc 21a and recorded with specified servo information pattern and data information pattern. An information recording part 2b is arranged similarly on a die disc 21b. A long flexible disc substrate can be clamped by both die discs and punched into a specified shape. When a not yet recorded flexible disc substrate is brought into contact with the information recording parts 2a, 2b and punched by means of the die discs 21a, 21b, servo information and data information is transferred and a magnetic recording medium punched into a specified shape is formed.
