PURPOSE: A washing machine having a laundry ascending device is provided to easily take out the laundry from a spin tub by ascending the laundry from the bottom of the spin tub. CONSTITUTION: A washing machine comprise a spin tub in which the laundry is placed, a pulsator which is mounted at a bottom of the spin tub, a rotating shaft for transferring the rotational force to the pulsator, and a motor for driving the rotating shaft. A cylinder(100) including a cylinder rod(150) is inserted into the rotating shaft such that it cannot be rotated together with the rotating shaft(50). A compressor(110) is provided to apply the pressure to the cylinder(100) so as to ascend the cylinder rod(150). Bearings(70) are installed between the cylinder(100) and the rotating shaft. |
