The present invention provides a method of predicting the rheological behavior of a non-Newtonian fluid at a given temperature and pressure, leading to an estimate of the apparent viscosity at a temperature T and a pressure P for three distinct shear rates (a) and based on an equation (b), and on solving a set of three equations of the said type to determine values for the parameters of the Herschel-Bulkley model for the same conditions of temperature and pressure by solving the set of three equations (c) corresponding to these three shear rates (a). |
