The invention relates to a cooling system for cooling at least one rubber strip (1), comprising a conveyor device (2) which is used to continuously convey the rubber strip (1), in addition to an air diffusing device enabling cooling air which is conveyed by a blowing device to flow out onto at least one flat side of the rubber strip (1). The air diffusing device is divided into at least one first and at least one second air cooling unit (3a,3b) which is arranged downstream from the first air cooling unit, and the blowing device is divided into at least one first and at least one second fan (4a, 4b). The first fan (4a) provides the first air cooling unit (3a) with non pre-cooled cooling air suctioned from surrounding atmosphere. The second fan (4b) provides the second air cooling unit (3b) with cooling air. The second air-cooling unit (3b) is disposed in a substantially closed housing (5), the rubber strip (1) being able to be conveyed therethrough by the conveyor device (2). The second fan (4b) has an air suctioning pipe (6) arranged inside the housing (5) for guiding the circulation of cooling air, and a heat exchanger which is connected to a cooling unit (7) is provided in order to pre-cool the cooling air which is recirculated in the housing (5). |
