PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a novel silalkyleneoligosiloxane having aliphatic- unsaturation-free monovalent hydrocarbon groups and Si-bonded alkoxyl groups, a method for producing the same, and a surface-treating agent comprising the same. SOLUTION: Provided are a silalkyleneoligosiloxane represented by the general formula (wherein R1 is an aliphatic-unsaturation-free monovalent hydrocarbon group; R2s, which may be the same or different from each other, are each an aliphatic-unsaturation-free monovalent hydrocarbon group; R3 is an alkylene; R4 is an alkyl; (a) is an integer of 0-2; (b) is an integer of 1-3 provided that their sum is an integer of 1-3; (c) is an integer of 1-3; and (n) is 0 or 1); a method for producing the silalkyleneoligosiloxane comprising effecting the addition reaction of (A) an Si-bonded-H-containing silalkyleneoligosiloxane with (B) a hydrocarbon compound having one aliphatic double bond in the molecule in the presence of (C) a hydrosilylation catalyst; and a surface-treating agent comprising the same.
