PURPOSE: To provide a cleaning system for an image forming device capable of eliminating the occurrence of staining on the back surface and side edge of a recording medium. CONSTITUTION: The cleaning system is provided with an operation control part 100 controlling the cleaning of a transfer drum, a user interface 200 for outputting feeding information of an original fed based on the judgment of a feeding mode for the original, an original size detecting part 300, an original carrying par 500, a recording medium carrying part 600 carrying the recording medium to a transfer part and detecting the size of the carried recording medium and a transfer drum cleaning executing part 700 executing the cleaning of the transfer drum in accordance with a cleaning execution command from the operation control part and executes the cleaning of the transfer drum in accordance with the cleaning execution command from the operation control part 100 which is issued based on information of the recording medium size changeover detection by the recording medium carrying part 600. |
