PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a person at the other end from feeling alarm by disconnected communication when the communication is disconnected due to an insufficient prepaid balance of a prepaid cellular phone terminal. SOLUTION: In the transmission of a communication disconnection alarm, the prepaid cellular phone terminal compares notification time information (threshold value) and a prepaid balance at the start of an outgoing telephone call. In the case of a prepaid balance being not larger than the threshold value indicated by the notification time information, when the content of setting on whether the communication disconnection alarm is transmitted or not indicates "ON", the communication disconnection alarm is transmitted to the telephone at the other end according to a set notification method. On the telephone at the other end, when the communication disconnection alarm is received, an announcement indicating the communication disconnection alarm is outputted as sound. Thus, when the communication is disconnected due to an insufficient prepaid balance, it is possible to notify the person at the other end of the cause of the communication disconnection, thereby preventing the person at the other end from feeling alarm due to the communication disconnection.
