PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a defrosting method and its system allowing stable continuous operation of a normal heating refrigerating cycle and having improved efficiency and economical advantages by completely eliminating the need for a regenerative source or an external heat source as an evaporating heat source and thus requiring no various constructions for the heat source. SOLUTION: Hot gas generated in a refrigerator is fed into an evaporator in a refrigerating chamber and its cooling pipe is heated at its inside. Incompletely condensed refrigerant gas changed into room-temperature or hot-temperature one after passing through the cooling pipe of the evaporator is fed into the primary side of a heat exchanger, the refrigerant gas passing through the primary side of the heat exchanger is fed through an expansion valve provided in a secondary side flow path of the heat exchanger, and the refrigerant gas passing through the secondary side is circulated in the refrigerator. Thus, the condensing, expanding and evaporating functions of the refrigerating cycle can be performed without using the external heat source or the regenerative source. COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
