PURPOSE: To permit the regulation of a temperature and a humidity in an indoor space simultaneously with deodorizing and cleaning of air by a method wherein an air-conditioning machine is provided therein with an ozone generating unit as well as a dehydrating and cleaning device including an ozone cleaning catalyst and an acid gas removing agent. CONSTITUTION: A first dust collecting filter 9 is provided in the air suction unit 7 of an air-conditioning machine, then, an ion electrode dust collecting unit 10 is provided immediately after the filter 9, next, an ozone generating unit 11 is provided to catch fine revitating dust, such as the smoke of cigarets and the like, by the ion dust collecting electrode unit 10 and effect deodorizing and sterilization by the ozone generating unit 11. A second dust collecting filter 12 is arranged immediately after the ozone generating unit 11 and, thereafter, an ozone cleaning catalyst 13 and an oxygen gas removing agent 14 are arranged to finish the deodorizing and sterilization by the ozone cleaning catalyst 13, eliminate the concentration of excessive ozone concentration and adsorb an acid gas accompanied by ozone oxidization by the acid gas removing agent 14. According to this method, the deodorizing operation and air cleaning operation can be effected simultaneously in addition to the temperature conditioning and humidity conditioning whereby a clean spatial atmosphere can be obtained. |
