PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a battery cover device small, easy to handle and having simple constitution. SOLUTION: The battery cover device 31 is equipped with a battery cover 30, a cover holding member 81, a shaft member 82, and a coming off preventing member 83. The battery cover 30 is capable of displacing to a closing position, a semi-closing position moved straight from the closing position, and an opening position. The battery cover 30 is fixed straight movably to the cover holding member 81. The coming off preventing member 83 is capable of displacing to a locking position preventing coming off of a battery 45, a semi-locking position moved straight from the locking position, and an opening position. The battery cover 30 has a first pressing part 131 displacing the coming off preventing member 83 to the semi-locking position when the battery cover 30 is displaced from the opening position to the semi-closing position. The battery cover 30 has a second pressing part 132 displacing the coming off preventing member 83 to the locking position when the battery cover 30 is displaced from the semi-closing position to the closing position.
