PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cosmetic storage container in which only a tray member is made removable, since a conventional cosmetic storage container has to be disposed of and removal of a lipstick for cleaning the inside of the tray member is troublesome when a filled lipstick has a failure. SOLUTION: A pair of slit grooves of an inner cylinder member reach the top of the inner cylinder member, a spiral groove of an outer cylinder member is opened at the top, the engagement between engagement pins and the spiral groove is prevented from being released at the maximum projection position of the tray member moved in the outer cylinder member, the engagement between the engagement pins and the spiral groove is released when the tray member is positioned above the maximum projection position, and the tray member can be removed from the top of the cosmetic storage container.
