PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dishwasher, which is provided with upper and lower doors, capable of smoothly opening/closing the upper and lower doors by linkage, reducing force to be required for opening/closing the doors, and lightly opening/closing the doors. SOLUTION: In the dishwasher, an opening/closing mechanism for opening/closing the upper door 3 and the lower door 2 comprises: an upper door support 31 for supporting the upper door 3; a lower door support 21 for supporting the lower door 2; a connection member 41 for connecting the upper door support 31 to the lower door support 21 and allowing the upper and lower doors 3, 2 to perform an opening/closing operation by linkage; a locking member 34 whose one end is freely lockably supported around a rotation fulcrum 35 arranged in a dishwasher main body 1 and whose other end is freely rotatably connected to the upper door support member 31; a mobile body 32 arranged in a part of the upper door support member 31; and a guide part 36 for guiding the mobile body 32 when the doors are opened/closed and controlling the posture of the upper door 3. When the doors are opened, the locking member 34 is locked around the rotation fulcrum 35 and the mobile body 32 is moved along the guide part 36. The upper door 3 is temporarily moved in a separating direction from the dishwasher main body 1, and then, opened to be rotated upward. COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
