A terminal device for managing securities is provided to easily track the troubled securities by scanning the securities received from a customer, inserting customer ID data, which includes at least one of invisibility, robustness, uniqueness, collusion allowance, asymmetry, anonymity, and conditional traceability, into a scanned security image, and storing the security image including the customer ID data. A scanning device(100) reads unique information from the securities by linking with an OCR(Optical Character Reader) or an MICR(Magnetic Ink Character Reader). An ID checker(110) reads the ID data from an ID tool of the customer presenting the securities to a shop. An authenticator(140) authenticates integrity of the read unique information of the securities or validity of the customer ID data. A terminal device(120) links/stores the read unique information of the securities and the customer ID data to a memory(175) or a storage medium. The ID tool includes an IC card issued from an IC card issuance authority, an ID card such as a resident registration number and a driving license, biometric information, and an electronic signature. |
