An inkjet image forming apparatus is provided to prevent ink in nozzles from being dried up by making a cap member in contact with a guide member without additionally providing a space for installing a capping device. An inkjet image forming apparatus comprises an inkjet cartridge(162) having a plurality of ink nozzles placed therein. A cap member(170) is installed in the inkjet cartridge(162) to surround the ink nozzles. A guide member(180) moves together with the inkjet cartridge(162), and has a contact groove(181) making contact with the cap member(170) to cap the ink nozzles. The inkjet cartridge(162) and the guide member(180) is installed to move toward each other.
