[PROBLEMS] A paper diaper excellently fits to the wearer despite the fact that it can be used as both tape type and pants type. [MEANS FOR SOLVING PROBLEMS] When both sides of a front body section (12F) and both sides of a rear body section (12B) are joined to each other, joints (12A) are formed on both sides, a waist opening (WO) and a left and right pair of leg openings (LO) are formed, and perforation lines (100) each extending from an edge of the waist opening (WO) to an edge of a leg opening (LO) is formed in each side of the front body section (12F). At least a pair of fastening tapes (90) each having a hook member (92) on its inner surface is placed straddling the perforation lines (100).
