A multi-purpose scrap disassembling apparatus suitable for scrap disassembly operation for various waste materials such as construction waste materials and pipe waste materials as well as waste automobiles. The scrap disassembling apparatus comprises a hydraulically operated boom mounted on a self-traveling vehicle, pinchers for scrap disassembly operation mounted at the tip of the boom, and a pair of right and left side openably drivable working arms mounted at the front or rear of the vehicle. Also, the scrap disassembling apparatus comprises a peeling tool holding a coated wire to be scrapped from the periphery by the closing operation of the working arm and tearing and peeling off the outer coating of the coated wire by an extraction operation for the core of the coated wire by the pinchers in the held state of the coated wire.
