A golf ball used for swing practice is provided to help a golf practitioner see a lamp light generated as the club head strikes a golf ball, and to prevent a head-up phenomenon at improved efficiency. A golf ball(10) comprises a rubber-made outer core(12) coated with a cover(11) having numerous dimples formed thereon. A spherical inner core(13) is located at the inside center of the outer core, and a battery(21) and a shock sensor(22) connected via an electrical circuit are mounted on a substrate(20) inserted into the inner core. LED lamps(23) connected to the substrate via wiring are protruded outwardly from the inner core and kept inside the outer core. Preferably, the outer core and the cover are made out of transparent materials, such that the LED lamps illuminate in response to a signal from the shock sensor as a club head strikes the golf ball.
