PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To send and receive a signal by use of remaining transmission lines even if one transmission line in a transmission system by a differential signal is disconnected. SOLUTION: In the on-board signal transmission system 10 for transmitting the differential signal, as circuits in a receiver 20, a transmission circuit 21, an interchange circuit 22, two select circuits 23, one receiving circuit 24 and a grounding circuit 25 are provided. This system 10 comprises: a select switch 32 intervening between the interchange circuit 22 and the select circuits 23; a voltage level detector 30 for detecting a disconnection intervening in the transmission circuit 21, a switch 31 which intervenes in the grounding circuit 25 and closes when a disconnection is detected by the voltage level detector 30; an output amplifier 34 which intervenes between the two transmission circuits and the interchange circuit and acquires a potential difference of the differential signal for outputting it to the interchange circuit; and a voltage doubling amplifier 33 intervening in the one select circuits 23. When the disconnection is detected, the select switch is configured to connect with an amplifier circuit 27 comprising the voltage doubling amplifier. COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
