PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance operability for a user by switching the display type of a screen automatically, according to the various operational inputs by the user or the operational state of an external apparatus, in a state where a plurality of screens are displayed on a monitor. SOLUTION: When audio reproduction of an arbitrary screen is selected by a remote controller 18 at the time of 2 screen display mode, a control section 19 switches the screen where the audio reproduction is selected to a large screen and switches the other screen to a small screen. When channel switching of the small screen is performed by the remote controller 18, the control section 19 switches the image of the small screen to the large screen and switches the original image of the large screen to the small screen.
