A method for providing a paraphrasing service, a system and a server therefor, and a computer-readable recording medium are provided to receive and store specific condition information, convert specific word/sentence data into paraphrasing data according to the specific condition information, and transmit the paraphrasing data to a user terminal, thereby providing the paraphrasing service capable of learning the language. If specific condition information is received from a user terminal, a paraphrasing server confirms whether specific word/sentence data is received from the user terminal(S440). The paraphrasing server analyzes the received specific word/sentence data to confirm whether the specific word/sentence data is Korean data(S450). According to the specific condition information, the paraphrasing server performs the paraphrasing of the specific word/sentence data to generate Korean paraphrasing data(S460). The paraphrasing server transmits the generated Korean paraphrasing data to the user terminal(S462). If a received specific word or sentence is not Korean, the paraphrasing server confirms whether the received specific word/sentence is foreign language data(S470).
