<p>An electron emission display device and a method of manufacture thereof are provided to prevent the gas ions which are generated from the ionizing collision of the electrons from being damaged during the crash of the emitter gas ions. The first substrate(301) and the second substrate(302) are arranged to be faced. A cathode(303) reclaimed by an insulating layer(305) is formed in the lower surface of the second substrate. The insulating layer has an opening(306) exposing an electron emitter(304). A gate electrode(307) is formed on the upper side of the insulating layer. An anode(308) is formed in the lower surface of the first substrate which is parallelly arranged with the second substrate in order to accelerate the electrons emitted from the electron emitter.</p> |
