The device ensures transmission of time multiplexed test data between the test device (T) and a number of terminals to be tested (T0-Tn). The test data are transmitted by a number of successive frames, with each having a different time interval. Different frames or groups of consecutive frames are allocated to different terminals under test with the time intervals identical or different. The carrier frequency of the transmitted data can be varied from frame to frame or for consecutive frame groups for a given terminal under test.
