PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ultrasonic probe capable of preventing malfunction due to a gel entered in the ultrasonic probe.SOLUTION: The ultrasonic probe includes: an ultrasonic device 11 having an element array 13 which includes plural elements 14 disposed in an array on the surface 12a thereof; a wiring substrate 45 which is disposed on the rear face 43b at the opposite side to the surface 12a of the ultrasonic device 11; an acoustic lens 7 disposed on the surface 12a of the ultrasonic device 11; and a case 6 provided to the wiring substrate 45 enclosing the ultrasonic device 11.
