摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique by which precise hazard prediction fitting the surrounding situation can be realized.SOLUTION: An observed information acquiring unit (2) acquires observed information regarding the situation around a vehicle. A logical formula conversion unit (3) converts the observed information acquired by the observed information acquiring unit into a logical formula representing the situation around the vehicle. A hypothesis inferring unit (5), using a knowledge base (4) which is a set of rules stated by the logical formula, performs demonstration by weighted hypothesis inference of hazard anticipated according to the logical formula into which hazard emerging during vehicle driving and general knowledge were converted by the logical formula conversion unit. A hypothetical result interpreting unit (6) figures out the risk level of the demonstrated hazard from the cost of demonstration required in the process of inference by the hypothesis inferring unit, and associates the logical formula used in the demonstration with the observed information.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
