A touch sensing method that determines whether a touch has occurred on the basis of the size of a driving frequency of a driving signal and the size of a sensing frequency corresponding to a sensing signal, a touch sensing controller and a touch sensing apparatus having the same are disclosed. The touch sensing controller comprises a driving unit, a sensing unit, a control unit and a noise sensing unit. The driving unit provides a plurality of driving electrodes with a plurality of driving signals having different frequencies from one another. The sensing unit performs fast Fourier transform (FFT) on sensing signals that are sensed in each sensing electrode, and determines whether a touch has occurred on the basis of variations between the frequency size of the sensing signals and the frequency size of the driving signals. The control unit controls operations of the driving unit and operations of the sensing unit. The noise sensing unit senses a noise component in a surrounding area, and provides the control unit with frequency characteristics with respect to the sensed noise component. |
