MAGNETIC SYSTEM OF SERIES-WOUND COMMUTATOR MACHINE

摘要

FIELD: electrical engineering; development and manufacture of DC traction commutator motors, primarily serious-wound ones. SUBSTANCE: axial length of part of sectionalized pole carrying auxiliary winding is shortened by two coil thicknesses of this winding. Higher efficiency is attained if auxiliary winding is placed with one side in slot of one pole and with other side, in slot of other pole; slot proper may be extended to yoke wherein external jumper is retained to ensure desired mechanical strength of magnetic system. EFFECT: reduced axial dimensions of magnetic system.
