The present invention relates to a hybrid vehicle control method including: a mileage determination step of determining whether a driving mileage of a vehicle is less than a predetermined reference mileage or not using a controller; an EV check step of checking whether the vehicle is driving in an EV mode or not using the controller; a first oxygen sensor determination step of determining whether an absolute value of oxygen sensor signals is a predetermined first reference value or higher; and a mode switching step of switching a driving mode of the vehicle into an operation mode operating an engine using the controller when it is determined that the absolute value of the oxygen sensor signals is the first reference value or higher while the driving mileage of the vehicle is less than the reference mileage and the vehicle is driving in the EV mode. The purpose of the present invention is to provide the hybrid vehicle control method capable of preventing a misdiagnosis of an oxygen sensor. |
