WEARABLE CAMERA SYSTEM AND VIDEO RECORDING CONTROL METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wearable camera system capable of improving convenience for handling image data picked up by a wearable camera and on-vehicle camera while reducing failure in recording of video image data.SOLUTION: A wearable camera system includes: a wearable camera wearable on a user; an on-vehicle recorder mounted on a vehicle on which a user boards; and an on-vehicle camera mounted on the vehicle. The on-vehicle recorder records a video image data picked up by the on-vehicle camera. The wearable camera records a video image data picked up by the wearable camera. When either one of the on-vehicle recorder and the wearable camera starts a video recording operation, either one of the on-vehicle recorder and the wearable camera transmits a piece of video recording start information including the fact of starting the video recording operation to either one of the on-vehicle recorder and the wearable camera. Receiving the video recording start information, the other one of the on-vehicle recorder and the wearable camera starts the video recording operation.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 14
