PURPOSE:To determine in advance from which component supply reel a component is out of stock and to reduce operational mistake and shutdown time of a device by monitoring the number of remaining unused components of each component supply reel of each component mounting device by real time. CONSTITUTION:A bar code 2 wherein reel control information such as reel No., a component item number and the number of initial contained components is recorded is attached to the component supply reel 1 for inputting real time information to a data bade 5. When the component supply reel 1 is warehoused, a reel control information read means 3 reads reel control information and outputs it to the data base 5 through an input processing means 6. Thereby, real time component control of a component mounting device group becomes possible, and it is possible to determine in advance at about what time which component is out of stock. Furthermore, accurate stock control of the number of component supply reels and its components, especially control of a fractional point component reel where in a component is partially used becomes possible. |
